All Brides Beautiful is proud to be a part of "HUDSON HISTORY DAYS"
Saturday, September 13 10 AM - 6 PM (8 AM - 8 PM Downtown)
In 1800, David Hudson established the community of Hudson in the Connecticut Western Reserve. Hudson was the first settlement in what would eventually become Summit County, Ohio. The community grew relatively slowly. The Wooden Farrar House (currently All Brides Beautiful) was built in 1832. In 1846, almost fifty years after the community's founding, only 600 people resided in Hudson. That same year, four churches existed in the town, including two Congregational Churches. Many of Hudson's earliest settlers were Congregationalists, and the town became an important center for this faith.
The Wooden Farrar House was a private residence until it became 3 apartments in 1946. The Main Floor became Ann G. Patterson Interiors in 1963. All Brides Beautiful has been here since 2002.
* For Hudson History Days our costumed employees will be sewing with a treadle sewing machine, or hand sewing, in the front window of our shop!
** The "DAVIES GUITAR DUO" will play classical guitar pieces from 11 AM - 3 PM.
